    This book is about a monster that has lived in the ages of knights and princesses. The monster is a beautiful 18 year old girl called fire. She can control and read minds of humans and animals. She has never wanted to be a monster but her father, Carasel, has made her one of them. She has to live through the fact that she is a monster that is hated by everyone. Now, she is trusted by the kingdom of the dells to help save the kingdom from a war between three kingdoms. Will she save the kingdom or make it fall apart?
    The book is like a history book. It talks about the past when the kingdoms of princess and princes ruled the land. But the author added some interesting character into the book. She has also added some animals that is celled monsters. Which is something regular kingdoms don't have.
    I think the author wants readers to understand how people lived a long time ago. But instead of making it very boring history book she has added wild characters to attract the attention of the readers. While the readers read about the interesting actions about fire( the main character) they will also understand what used to happen in the past like wars , kingdoms, travels and more.
    Fire is a great character. She might be a beautiful monster but inside she is something more. She is a brave strong girl. If you read the book you might see that there is a lot of things that has happened to her but she kept of going forward. Her father is a monster but fire is not. I see her as a person that has amazing gifts to read peoples minds. Fire has chosen to use her powers/gifts to do good things, not vicious and horrible things like her father. She has used her powers to help the kingdom win a war.
    Fire has a weird love story. Archer was her best friend when she was little. Now he has turned into her lover. Archer wants fire to marry him. I understand that he wants to protect Fire but not in that way. Fire will be miserable. I think she has the right not to marry anyone. People might use her.
    I think the author should change archers name. I think the name can confuse the readers. In some parts when there are both archers (a person who shoots a bow in a war battle) and Archer I get confused of what they do. I think the author should add a sign so the readers could understand.
    This book has great morals. One of the morals that shines in the book is ' use your special things for good things'. Like while Fire is a monster , she tries to be a good person. She uses her powers to help not to ruin things.
    I recommend this book for teens around 13-over because there are lessons in the book that they need to understand. I give the book 7/10 stars. I hope the author can make more books.

   I have bought this book because of many reasons. The format and the pictures in the cover has got my attention. The color and the way the title is edited has a theme of a girls school in it. The title has also got my attention, the way 'cross my heart, and hope to spy' makes people think it s a spy book and most tween would love spy books. I think the back blurb is not interesting. It is only a part of the book pasted in the back of the book. If adults see this book, I think they won't buy it because the back blurb does not explain the book at all. While I saw the cover, I could not see what number was the book, was it the forth book?,or the third?. I think the author should put a number on the book so readers will know which book is it, and not think its the first book.
   The book is too short. For me it felt like reading a chapter in a big book. The word are to simple, I think it should be more intense. I think 11 years old and above can read much better that that. I think its a book for an 9 year old.
   The moral in this book is teamwork. I think its a good moral for young readers because it is important in that age to work together. And another moral is friendship, a true friend will always be at your side no matter what. Friendship is one of the important things a child will need to learn.
   Overall this book needs some work. But the story line is very interesting. I give this book 6/10. Next time the author writes a book i think it should be more. And more intense.

   I love thinking about prom. It is so cool! Wearing Dresses, having a date, and dancing. It seems like a cool time! This book has many things about proms. It has times when the character does not have a date and tries to ruin the prom by casting a spell. There are ones that is scared of dancing and prom. Each story is made differently. Like there are some that is more a script than a story. There are some that is a Diary and lots more.

   My favorite story is the story about this girl who started off without any dates, but ends up with 3 dates. I thought the story was very romantic. Especially the part when knows the truth about this boy who she thought bullied her.

   Some stories are very disappointing. Some character hates prom, but in the end she is forced to go to prom. It just makes you feel angry.

   I like when books or stories is very in our time. Like when a story has parts that talk about I-pad's or trending things that we all recognized. Some of the story is to old fashioned like a girl who emails people. I think it should be like her chatting in Facebook or chatting in her phone, like now days.

   My favorite story is the story about the girl having 3 dates. I don't like some of the stories. I like the parts that is very similar to our time, I recommend this book for people who likes prom, and who didn't have prom yet. I rate this book 8 stars out of 10 or 4 stars out of 5.

   I am reviewing a great book called Z for Zachariah. This is a book about a young lady that is alone in the world by her self because the radioactive waves in her country has killed everyone. She meets a man who is a scientist. She thinks the man is the person who has invented the radioactive wave. This Is a good old fashioned book. My dad used to read this when he was little.
   A teen girl named Ann Burden, lives in the country side. She knows how to survive on her own. She owns her own farm, which means she can grow her own food and take care of her own animals! The most amazing part is, she knows how to cook, farm things, and she has a store that isn't owned by anyone anymore. It's really cool. I'm sure she can survive at that place for a long time.
   This book has a many important meanings. Sometimes people do things that kills many people. Every one in the world has selfishness in them. You can't change that. Some people might look nice but actuality they could be selfish.
   The setting of the book is very interesting. The main character lives in the big house. Besides the big house is a store with nobody owning it. The fact that the character can cook, spices up the book. She also has a farm of her own, so she can farm her own plants.
   Overall I think this book is great. It has many moralistic endings that think is important, and the setting is beautiful. I recommend this book for people who understands the world. I think they would really like it. I rate this book 4 stars.

     I have read this book many times and I never got bored. The book is very exiting and has many types of characters. Every part of the book makes a story of how we really live. Capitol is the rich people around the world, and only the important people know what’s going on. All the other people in the capitol is just people who does not know what is going on in the world, they just think of them selves. On the other side, poor people struggle to give what they have to the capitol so they have money survive. Hunger games is mostly the same thing but it's just made to attract peoples attention and make them understand about capitalism that is happening on the world right now.
     Katniss evergreen is the main character in the book. I really like her. She was a ordinary girl in the district that could trick the capitol. She is very sweet for volunteering for her sister. But she is also not faking her love for Peetah, even though she does not know. I think she is very shocked how the people in the capitol lives. Very different than the districts. At the game, she made a friend. Katniss wants to help her but she didn’t make it through the game. That maybe the reason she started to be against the capitol.
     Katniss and Peetah are supposed to act like their in love in the game. If not, their lives are in great danger. There doing this so their family and friends are safe from the torture of the capitol. The capitol wants the best for their people so they use the districts to make capitol people happy and satisfied. If they find out the capitol is not satisfied, many people in the districts will die, maybe even the whole district. So they keep the people satisfied. Even if the capitol is very mean.
     Katniss everdeen is similar to another character. She is similar to Tally Youngblood. Tally Youngblood is a girl from a book called Pretties, Uglies, Specials. She goes with the usual cycle that on the background she does not know about. But after she knew the truth, She becomes something like a leader to people who also goes trough the truth about their lives. They both also have fears, that they can't control. One of the common thing is that they both have two boyfriends but they don’t know who to pick.
     I like the book because it's about the story of the present life. So similar. Another reason i like this book is because it is a great book for teens. It has a love story. That is the most important part in writing a book. Love stories can always grab other peoples attention.
     My favourite part of the book is when Katness makes the editor of the game choose Peetah and katness as the winner. It's very sweet because you might think they don’t love each other, but if you understand deeply, they love each other. Now, they have might made their selves in great danger. They will torture them.
     The Most worst part is when Katnesses closest friend saw her kissing with Peetah. They make Katniss do it to interest the Capitol. Maybe Gale, Satanist’s close friend, knows what is happening. But he might still be angry. It's a true love story. Teens would like it.
     If I can change a bit of the book, i would make the Districts more technological. Like they live in small apartments with cool futuristics things. But don't make them rich. It would ruin the whole story. And also make Peetah and Katniss more romantic.That would make Gale more angry.
     I think Teenagers would like this book. It has very interesting Story, Problem and etc. Also that Katniss is 16 so maybe more people of the same age would want to read it. I’m almost a teenager and I have read the book around 2 times. But my mom is the one who first introduced me to this book.
     i recommend you guys that are going to read this book to not see the movie first. It will ruin the vision of the book. Also don't search of the characters of the new movie that is going to come. It will also ruin you vision of the character. So don’t do it!

   I love the part when a boy thew a party at his house. Not a crazy teenagers party though. Just a fun party. There were many fights but they all were very happy. Nobody ever had that kind of parties at my school. I wish I could have those kinds of party. They sound so fun.
   I hate the part when Margaret hurts a girls heart just because a little gossip. She didn't even know if the gossip was even true. May this be a lesson to everyone to not to ever listen to something even if you think its true.
   The sad part was when they wanted to go to different schools because they have finished elementary school. Its just like me leaving elementary school because I moved when I was 6th grade. Now i have lost many friends but also made many new friends.
   I recommend children who haven't gone through puberty to read this because it has a good vision of what might happen to you when you go through puberty. I hope tis book can be a good example to you who will have puberty soon.

The Fate in the Box was different.  I mean, at first it seemed like a fact file about what Venice was like back in 1783.  Except it was kind of like Steampunk because they had machines that haven’t even been invented now, while still keeping everything else the same as it was back then.  However as I got deeper into the story it got so good that I couldn't stop reading it!  The main bad guy was Fogfinger and he did many bad things to the poor people of Venice.  I think the worst thing he did was kill the male Sea Saur, pretend the female Sea Saur had done it,  and invent the lambing (where two children, a boy and girl, were said to be eaten by the female Sea Saur).  The reason I think this is the worst thing he did is because it is awful when everyone thinks I did some bad thing I didn't do and it would probably be even worse if the thing I was being blamed for was killing my best friend, mom, dad, or sister.
The story was about three children called Tockle, Amneris, and Biri.  Tockle, Amneris, and Biri all live in Venice, a beautiful place turned awful by Fogfinger.  One day Tockle and Biri were taken away by the Piccolissimi Pochi (which is what the group of people who fought against Fogfinger called themselves) and recruited to be Piccolissimi Pochi. They were asked to find out exactly what happened when the lambs were sacrificed.  Meanwhile Amneris was making friends with Latenia, a fat rich girl who used automata for everything.  When Tockle and Biri got back they recruited Amneris to be a Piccolissimi Pochi. Amneris kept visiting Latenia.  One day when Amneris visited Latenia she found that she was very upset.  This was because she had to marry Fogfinger, who was by then an ugly old man and because her brother told her that Amneris, Tockle and Biri was probably a member of the Piccolissimi Pochi.  So, she completely baffled Amneris by asking if she could hire her as her own personal killer.  However you will have to find out yourself what happened next.
I think ages ten to fifteen should read this book because it is too fantasy for adults and smaller children wouldn't understand it at all.  This book definitely deserves five out of five stars.

     I got this series as my tenth birthday present. I think this is a very good series and I really like the parts when she is actually in the arena where they have the Hunger Games in both book one and two. Even though it was a brilliant book I could say that Suzanne Collins should take out the boring parts, like when Katniss is in the cave with Peeta, because those parts are not really needed as part of the story. I can understand that to make the book more real you would have to have some grieving and death but I think that the author has gone a bit too far because it is not fun for the reader to be crying for most of each book in the series.
     The first book is about a girl called Katniss who volunteered to be in the Hunger Games instead of her twelve year old sister Primrose. The Hunger Games is something that happens on TV every year. It is where a boy and girl from each District, ages twelve to eighteen, are chosen to be put in varying Habitats and are forced to kill each other. The winner is the last person alive. Normally tributes (the children who are chosen to fight to the death) from District Two won, but this time Katniss and Peeta won. (You will have to find out how two tributes won from the book.) Even though one would think Katniss should have been happy about winning she was far from it, because while she was in the arena she made friends with a girl called Rue who was killed.
     At the beginning of the second book Katniss and Peeta thought that they and their families were safe from the Hunger Games and could live peacefully for the rest of their lives. However their hopes were soon shattered when President Snow proclaimed that that year the Hunger Games would include all the winners of the Hunger Games from the years before. In this Hunger Games the arena was a jungle shaped like a clock. It was similar to a clock because at each hour, always in the same place, something different happened. This time the Hunger Games was different because Katniss did not have to win. When there were still about six people left, Katniss and a few of the others were illegally taken to the secret District Thirteen. This surprised them because District Thirteen had supposedly been bombed away.
     At the beginning of the third book Katniss was so angry that she had not been let into the plans of rebellion and was still supposed to agree to be their Mockingjay ( the symbol of rebellion) that she kind of went crazy. Her anger got even worse when she was informed that she would not join in the fighting and when she saw how President Snow had brain washed Peeta on TV . Eventually her and Johanna (another winner who was in the last hunger games and got taken away towards the end) were allowed to do the training with children younger than themselves and if Katniss and Johanna were good enough (which they were) they would be allowed to fight. I think this was the saddest book because towards the end, while they are fighting, Primrose is burnt up by fire balls. Moreover it was doubly sad because her own side had made and fired the fireballs.
     I think ages ten and up should read this book because before that one would think it was boring. This book definitely deserves five out of five stars.

     This book was AWFUL. When I say awful I do not mean you will be full of awe after you read it I mean awful as in boring. The reason I say this book is awful is because when you first see it you think it will be a really good book all about a girl fighting fire breathing dragons. Then when you start reading it you find out that the whole point of the book is that Seraphina (the main character) loves the prince. Can you think of anything more boring than that? If you can then I feel sorry for you because you must read a lot of boring books.
     This book was about a girl called Seraphina who was half dragon and half girl. I allow that the tiniest bit of it was about her fighting the bad dragons, but most of it, as I said earlier, was about her trying to stop thinking about how much she loved the prince. You are probably wondering how is it possible that a whole book is all about such a boring thing as that. I hate to tell you that it is possible and my proof is in this AWFUL book.
     I think no one should read this book, unless you really like boring books. This book deserves two stars, as it deserves some credit for the part where Seraphina actually fights dragons.

      I read this book because it was winner of the Newbery Medal 2012. Also, it had a good front cover so that made me want to read it. However, I did have a problem with it. That was because there weren't any skeletons eating cookies in boxes, unlike the cover. My other problem was that Jack wasn't actually dying of boredom (like a skeleton) but was starting to have fun in other ways.
      This book did have a bit of an interesting story towards the end though, I must grant it that. The actual story in this book is about a boy called Jack (just like the writer). First Jack gets in trouble for playing with his dad’s guns. Then he gets in trouble for mowing the corn lawn because even though his dad tells him to do it. His mum does not want him to do that, and then he is grounded for all of his summer. However Miss Volker needs his help for writing newspaper obituaries for the dead but what happens when she is suspected for crime?
      If you like books that are mysterious and in which people die, then you should read this book. If you like books where you know what is going to happen and where no one but the bad guy dies, then definitely don't read this book. This story has a few morals so I shall not describe every single one of them. The one I shall tell you about is this: Do not think you shall catch someone’s love by accusing them of something you did yourself because it shall just make it harder to get them.

We borrowed this book twice from the library but the first time I didn’t read it because I was busy reading other books. You may think that I finally started reading this book because it had a really cool cover or because the name sounded exciting. If you did think one these things then you are completely wrong because the front cover was only a picture of a girl and the name of the book was the name of the girl, Grace. The reason I read this book was actually because I had been to the Red House Book Awards and he was one of the people that might have won the award, so I thought it must be a good book then and decided to read the book.

You are probably wondering what the book is about. It is about a girl called Grace who starts doing what she calls ‘sins’. In her church the dad always gets the blame. Because of this her dad gets expelled, which means he has to go away and never gets his family back. Grace is for most of the book doing more sins while trying to get her dad back so that she doesn't have to do sins anymore and so that she can be a whole family again. You probably think that she is breaking a car killing a person or something like that. If you did think one of these things then you are completely wrong because she only did things that were bad for her religion like touch an outsider.

This book was set in Australia. It takes place in Grace’s house, Grace’s new house, the farm of prayer, the zoo, Kyle and his dads house and finally in the hospital.

This book gave a really good moral that suggests it is fine to have a religion as long as you respect other people’s religions and don't go to crazy about your religion. I completely agree with the author’s opinion. In this way the book is really similar to My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece. If you have read this book and liked it I greatly recommend to you My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece.

There were some parts of the story that I wish were longer, like the part where she got her dad back. In contrast, I despised that it never actually tells you why the project she did was so bad and when her dad's there and when he's not. There are actual, real religious sects like the one in the book all over the world, like in Arizona, USA, and they have lots of people that are extremist Christians just like in the book like that there. I discovered that this book is similar to My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece except the crazy people in that book are Muslims and the person that isn't crazy is Muslim. When I came to the part where they were taking her dad away I started to tremble and feel my eyes moisten with tears because he was expelled, and when you were expelled you normally never saw your family again. I would absolutely hate if we had that rule and if my dad ever got expelled because I like my family and never want to have it be broken apart.

The characters were quite interesting because Grace (the main character of the title) who completely loved and believed in God (not too much though, like the crazy people) became friends with Kyle. Kyle did not believe in God and when he did believe in God at all he definitely didn't love him at all and sometimes when he was in a bad mood he would completely hate God.

Ages nine to twelve should read this brilliant book because if you are younger you won’t understand and your brain will be bursting and if you are older you won’t like that it has lots of adventure and action.

Will he go back to living on the floor or will he change his mind and stay with the monster?
      My favourite part is when the monster tells Billy his secret because you’re itching to know the monster’s secret and he finally tells it. My favourite character is Billy because he's the main character so I know the most about him. I think ages eight through fifteen should read this book. I think this book deserves five out of five stars. I really like the writing because it has lots of action. I think the writing is very suspenseful because you always want to turn the page in case something exciting happens next.

I think this book deserves five out of five stars. You could tell I was enjoying this book because whenever I read it I had a smile on my face. This book was so good that even when my parents were talking loudly (they’re very noisy) I was swept away into its magical adventures.

      My favourite character is Conor because he is fearless. My favourite part is the scariest part, when Conor is inside the nightmare. Although my parents think the monster is just adrenalin I know that it is real because of the baby yew tree growing in his room. I think ages eight through fifteen should read this brilliant book. I think this book definitely deserves five out of five stars.

This is one of the most brilliant books I have ever read. With Mo being haunted, the Adderhead immortal and Dustfinger dead the story has taken an unhappy turn. Finally Orpheus tries to swap Mo for Dustfinger and ends up giving in them both but Mo makes a dangerous deal with Death that if he gives him and Dustfinger back their lives that he will write those three words Heart, Spell and Death into the White book but if he doesn't before the end of spring him, Dustfinger and Meggie shall die.
My favourite part is when Mo is in the dungeon. My favourite character is Meggie. I think ages 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 should read this book. I give this book five out of five.

This is one of the most brilliant books I have ever read. It is about a girl called Meggie, her parents Mo and Resa, Fenoglio, Farid, Dustfinger, Gwin and Aunt Elinor. Now that Resa got back Meggie wants to now all about Inkworld and finally reads herself and Farid into Inkworld without knowing how much trouble that was going to cause. From that day on things seemed wrong. Mo and Resa got read into Inkworld and Mo nearly died, Cosimo got read back to life but not really and Dustfinger gave his life away so that Farid could live.

My favourite part is Meggies first day in Inkworld. My favourite character is Meggie because she is simular to me. I think this book deserves 4.5 out of five. I think ages 8, 9, 10, 11 and twelve should read this book especially if they like reading because it is a fat book and because the main character likes reading.

      I really liked this book because it can get a bit funny.

      This book is about a witch, named Gwendolen, and her little brother, named Cat Chant, whose parents have died when they went in a paddle steamer and it broke so they drowned. Cat Chant was holding on to Gwendolen (who is a witch, and witches don't drown) so he didn't drown.
      As Gwendolen stayed with Mrs Sharp longer, she started to turn into the best witch in town, and starts to want to live with Chrestomanci. When she gets there she wants to have more magic classes, but Chrestomanci doesn't let her, so she wants revenge. Gwendolen trys many things but never gets any reaction. Finally when she does her last thing, which was make bugs turn into giants, she gets a reaction, but it is not a good one.

      I really liked this book, because it gets a bit funny, when she tries to get revenge. My favourite part of this book is when Gwendolen takes small animals, such as spiders and frogs, and turn's them into giant animals. I think nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen and fourteen year olds should read this book, because it just feels like that to me. If I put this book out of five, I'd definitely say, no matter what happens, this book would be five out of five. I liked this book so much that I could barely put it down, and it only took me three days to read it. The moral of this book is don't get revenge, because you are the loser and it won't lead to happiness.
